STANDARD BOARD $450/month

Includes: stall, stall cleaning, grain, hay, salt, shavings, turnout, rotational paste dewormer, bandaging, blanketing, scheduling and holding for vet and farrier, ordering and administering supplements, laundry bundle service pick up and drop off, catalog supply ordering, basic wound care and administering of medications per veterinary instructions, light grooming after turnout 

TRAINING $450/month

Includes: basic clipping, mane pulling, schooling five sessions per week, one rider lesson per month, free leather stable halter and stable sheet in barn colors w/first months training, 10% discount for multiple horses 

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING SESSION $30/hour

            For horses enrolled 2x/week or less in a month 

STANDARD 1 HOUR GROUP LESSON PACKAGES

            Regularly scheduled group lessons $30 each

            Semi-Private (2 riders) lessons $45 each

            Private lessons $60 each

            School horse rental $5/lesson

            Lessons are purchased in the following 13-week sessions:

I              11/2-2/5*           pmts due      10/30, 11/27, & 1/8

II            2/8-5/7               pmts due         2/5, 3/5, 4/9

III            5/10-8/6            pmts due          5/7, 6/4, 7/9

IV            8/9-11/5            pmts due        8/6, 9/3, 10/8

Sessions may be purchased up front or in three equal payments per session.  Complete sessions paid in full by the first lesson receive a 10% discount.   Incoming students may pro-rate their sessions from first given lesson and may still be eligible for the 10% discount.  Your first lesson is free because we are just that confident that our program is exactly what you've been looking for! 

i.e. one session on a school horse @ $409.50 or three pmts of $151.66, trailer in your own horse for lessons @ $351.00 or three pmts of $130.00, board with us and take lessons @ $315.90 or three pmts of $117.00 in addition to board. 

Semi-Private and Private lessons are by special request only and may not be purchased in advance. 

* No regularly scheduled group lessons the week of 12/21-25. 

“STARTER” LESSON PACKAGE $180

Available to all first time students, required for first time beginner riders in preparation for group lessons, includes: three one-hour private lessons (30 minutes on lesson preparation, 30 minutes mounted), free schooling helmet, leather paddock boots, and leather half-chaps which become property of student regardless of whether additional lesson packages are purchased  

COMMISSIONS

        7% for sales on any horse or pony sold or leased while in training or boarded with farm, no charge for simple presentation, inclusion on website, and promotion at events attended or hosted by farm

Finders Fee @ cost of expenses incurred

All purchases and leases will be handled by HorseClosings.com.

Special diets for boarded horses can be bought through farm at cost over standard grain or hay allowance; supplements, medications, laundry, vet, and farrier charges, catalog orders, supplied, and equipment supplied by  or paid in advance by owner unless noted; training and boarding balances not paid in full by the 5th of the month will incur a $5/day late charge and all services except minimum care will be suspended until balance is brought current; emergency veterinary expenses will be billed by directly by vet; it is our policy to avoid any unexpected charges to our clients.  Lesson cancellations should be made 24 hours in advance or will require special consideration to avoid being charged in full for the missed lesson, excessive absences may result in loss of group lesson privileges.  Make-up lessons will be scheduled once a month in a group lesson format.  Missed make-up lessons will not be rescheduled.

Horse Rental $35/day

Can be divided among riders attending per horse if applicable

Shows $45/day

Includes: regular boarding and training services if applicable, assisting with tacking and care, schooling of rider

Championships $100/day

Includes:  regular training and boarding services if applicable, assisting with tacking and care, schooling of rider

Professional Rides $30/day + 20% of winnings

Non-boarder Fee $15/day (to balance out the fact that boarders are still paying daily board rates in addition to show rates)

Rates do not include braiding, pro-rated tack stalls, stall rental, hauling and layover expenses, show vet or farrier services, or show fees; clients with outstanding balances may not attend shows, show rate charges, entries, and transportation must be paid prior to departure or horse will not attend The cost of tack stalls, grooming stalls, bedding, hay, and grain mark-ups, housing and transportation expenses for farm staff are equally divided by the number of participating horses. Board fees at home continue while horses are at shows. Fees and expenses paid by farm for clients and billed incur a 10% surcharge. Lesson rates will be deducted from show fees.  Clients owing late charges or with outstanding balances may not attend shows. 

BRAIDING

            Half $20

            Full $30

TACK CLEANING $10/item

BODY CLIPPING $125

TRANSPORTATION  $0.75/mile, minimum $75.00 to be divided among stalls filled

Returned checks incur a $37.00 service charge.  More than one returned check will require all future transactions to be handled by money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.  Any fees qualifying for a refund will be subject to processing fees incurred.
